Since we became an embryo in the womb that food becomes crucial to
what we are. Initially depend on what our mother eats. An obese woman,
or a woman that gain 20 or 30 pounds during pregnancy, can condition
their child’s future.
In
the absence of food, the body doesn’t grows neither get fully
developed, either during intrauterine life or during childhood and
adolescence, nor cannot keep a pace of biological activity that prevents
you from growing old in a few years. In other words, when there is
hunger, the man cannot reach maturity, will live sick and die early.
But for a healthy diet,
that brings you a quality life, it is not only the amount of food that
is sufficient. Interest also its quality and variety. If we have variety
of different foods at our disposal, why do we opt for the burgers and
cookies?
A society that wishes to citizens’ health care cannot only get enough
food at our disposal, but have to offer them good choices and teach
them to eat right.
